The term “Choripán” is a combination of two words in Spanish. Chorizo and Pan. (Bread and Sausage). Choripan is a delicious Street Food very popular in Argentina, that is made of Chorizo, Bread (French Baguette) and Chimichurri (A popular condiment for meats in Argentina)IngredientsChorizo ArgentinoFrench or crusty breadChimichurriTo make this recipe today instead of Chorizo, I am going to use German Sausage. I love the taste of Bratwurst, so in this particular case I’m going to make it with Bratwurst, yummy! If you cannot find chorizo or bratwurst where you live you could use Italian sausage and is really good too for this dish. Let’s start making the Chimichurri with one day in advance, I made it two days ago, so all the flavors of this sauce got combined deliciously. So I already have the Chimichurri ready, check here for recipe.Place the Chorizo or Bratwurst on a hot grill for 12 minutes or until cooked through. Cut the bratwurst in half lengthwise and added back to the grill for a few minutes before serving to make it a little bit crispy, how I like it ;)Cut the bread lengthwise to be ready to assemble the chori.Place the bratwurst inside the bread. Spoon the chimichurri over the cut Bratwurst, and enjoyed! For a vegetarian version, you can make this using your favorite vegetarian sausage. Comments are closed.
